Married At First Sight UK has had us all glued to our screens since it first kicked off at the beginning of this week, with explosive rows, awkward moments and, of course, couples falling in love.

While we have been living for the drama, there is one contestant who has had viewers talking more than most with her antics, Nikita Jasmine.

Fans have watched on in shock as the 27-year-old had a meltdown after marrying Ant Poole, declaring that he ‘wasn’t her type’ just moments after they said their vows.

Things initially didn’t get any better for the new couple when a heated argument led to the new bride hurling a cup in her husband’s direction, leaving us all wondering just what would happen next.

However, it turns out that Nikita is no stranger to the cameras, and has appeared on two shows in the past.

In fact, the reality TV veteran popped up in the third series of Comedy Central’s Your Face Or Mine, alongside ex-boyfriend Billy.

She couldn’t get enough of the sofa, and returned to the show a year later, but the lovebirds had split by that point.

As well as this, the couple also appeared on MTV’s True Love or True Lies together, which aired in 2018.

The premise follows pairings having to convince other contestants that they are officially all loved up, in a bid to prove whose relationship is the best – but there are some who are faking their affections towards their partner.

After they were voted out, Nikita and Billy announced that they were a fake couple, and while they were sleeping together, they weren’t in love.

Nikita isn’t the only cast member to have had a previous stint on TV, with co-star Morag Crichton looking for

Speaking to the Plymouth Herald, she insisted: ‘I didn’t get a date, and I’m not disappointed.

‘There was nothing wrong with the men but I wouldn’t have gone out with them in real life. I had to be true to myself.’

Teasing that there was one man she did have eyes for, Morag added: ‘Anyway, the only one I fancied was Paddy [McGuinness]. He was the nicest guy, so good to all of us. A real gentleman.’

Married At First Sight UK continues on weeknights, at 9pm, on E4.
