Why don’t the Married At First Sight cast follow each other on Instagram?
The Married At First Sight UK cast don’t currently follow each other on social media.
Contestant Nikita revealed why this is on her Instagram Story, explaining that they are required by the reality show not to do so until the series stops airing.
‘None of the cast can follow each other until after the show has ended, it’s in the contract,’ she penned.
‘A lot of drama happens on the show as you already know, it was pre-recorded so it wouldn’t make much sense if we all began to follow each other now.’
Although they might not be following each other just yet, the cast of the series is sharing a whole load of behind-the-scenes content on their socials to keep fans updated.
Following the first batch of honeymoons, a number of the contestants posted pictures from the luxurious getaways and revealed what went down in scenes that didn’t make it to air.
Morag posted a video of her with Luke, which saw them traveling on a cable car and enjoying Prosecco.
‘Shame you didn’t get to see the activities we went on!’ she captioned the post. ‘Zip wiring across the alps and a very, very boozy wine tasting day ? a lot of fun was had!’
Married At First Sight UK continues on Monday at 9pm on E4.
