Megan Thee Stallion has had a hell of an amazing year and topped it all off with a visit to Santa’s Twerkshop for a send-up of her own song, Savage.
As rumours swell she’s about to perform the original track with Beyonce at the 2021 Grammys, Megan joined forces with James Corden, to give it a festive vibe – and to put Santa firmly at the top of his own naughty list.
The song, which remains a certified bop even with the new lyrics, sees James become Father Christmas himself and rapping alongside the WAP singer.
Getting drunk on eggnog and getting high in the workshop, it’s clear this is a new bad Santa and we can totally get on board with it.
Lyrics include Megan’s classic wordplay as she tells us: ‘Naughty, got a thick body, rosy red cheeks – people think he’s Pavarotti.
‘I’m a Santa, jolly. Happy. Merry. Face is plump and hairy. Sack of gifts, I carry. B***h, I’m a Santa.’
Things soon devolve into debauchery as Santa starts causing trouble for a mum as he comes down her chimney and eats all her cookies.
He then promises to ‘make your North Pole tingle’ and Megan ends up going for a ride on his sleigh and a reindeer, because why the hell not.
Is it too late to argue this for Christmas number one? Asking for a friend.
Between Savage and WAP with Cardi B, Megan has fully been the soundtrack to our 2020 – even if she has had to stand up for herself and defend her steamy and female-empowering lyrics.
WAP in particular (which stands for Wet A** P***y) has come under fire, with Snoop Dogg speaking out against the X-rated track.
Speaking on Central Ave, Snoop explained: ‘Let’s have some privacy, some intimacy where he wants to find out as opposed to you telling him.
‘That should be a woman’s prized possession. That’s your jewel of the Nile.’
But Megan’s response was perfect, and speaking on Jonathan Ross, she said: ‘I feel like, for a long time, men felt like they owned sex.
‘So sometimes when women speak about sex, I feel like it makes other people uncomfortable because it’s like “How dare you talk about your own vagina? You’re not supposed to be talking about a vagina.”
‘But, I mean it’s frickin’ 2020, why am I not allowed to talk about my body? It’s my goddamn body.’
