Mel B is all for the Spice Girls headlining Glastonbury in the future, and we need to make this happen.

There has been intense speculation that the Wannabe singers will be popping up on the pyramid stage at the annual festival, with fans calling out for organisers to make this happen.

And the Wannabe singer did nothing to dampen those desires as she appeared on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast this morning.

Chatting to hosts AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan, talk turned to when we could be seeing the girl power legends back on stage.

When AJ asked if there would be another reunion, following their 2019 gigs, the Scary Spice star replied: ‘I always say yes, but I have to convince the others.

‘I think if I work hard enough, by 2023 we should be on tour.’

Briefly discussing Glastonbury rumours, Mel confessed she was all for it, adding: ‘I think we should, I definitely think we should. So yes!’

She knows what we want, what we really, really want.

Mel reunited with Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel C for a string of concerts in 2019, with Victoria Beckham famously deciding to sit out on the fun.

However, according to her bandmates, Posh Spice would definitely be up for a comeback at the iconic festival.

‘I know Mrs Beckham would love to do Glastonbury,’ Mel C said in June.

‘It’s been rumoured a lot, but we do constantly talk about getting back on stage because the shows in 2019 were incredible.

‘We’d love to do it again, once the world allows.’

While we have a long way to go until the line-up for Glastonbury is announced, they still have a lot to celebrate about as they recently commemorated the 25-year anniversary of their debut album, Spice.

Spice was released in November, 1996, and spent 15 weeks at number one in the UK, going on to sell 23million copies worldwide.

Side note: How has it been that long?

To mark the anniversary, the 2 Become 1 stars have re-released the record with some of their favourite bonus songs, remixes and B-sides, as well as the original tracklist.

We’ll have it on repeat until their Glastonbury festival slot…
