Molly Marsh, the star of Love Island, was shocked to learn on tonight’s show that she had been ejected from the resort.
The islanders were all left speechless and perplexed when they learned that their companion had been instructed to pack her belongings and leave the ITV2 programme.
The dramatic turn of events occurred when bombshell Kady McDermott was charged with snatching a male to pair up with only hours after returning to the show seven years after her debut in the relaunched show’s second series.
Molly received a text after picking Zachariah Noble, with whom she was paired.
But that wasn’t what she had hoped for.
Rather than just being told that she was single, Molly was informed that she had been dumped and that she needed to collect her belongings immediately.
The show concluded before viewers could learn more… So, maybe it’s a bluff, and Molly will truly remain on, with another surprise in the works?
To find out, we’ll have to wait till Sunday!
During the surprise recoupling ceremony, when Kady was the only one given the chance to pick someone to couple up with, she revealed that after their initial discussions, she wanted to get to know Zach better.
‘This specific kid has caught my attention,’ the bombshell said as a dramatic cover of Maneater played in the background. He is someone I would be drawn to on the outside, and I’m forward to learn more about them.’
Molly’s eyes widened in surprise when she learned that Zach had been picked, while he stood up and kissed Kady on the cheek, telling the newcomer, ‘That’s not easy.’
Molly looked visibly shaken by the decision, while islander Jess Harding told her: ‘Hold it in.’
‘You okay?’ Whitney Adebayo told Molly, as she responded: ‘Yeah I’m good.’
But not for long.

Molly then received a ping on her phone, reading a text that said: ‘Molly, you are now single and therefore have been dumped from the island.’
The other cast members instantly gasped, with Jess and Mitchel Taylor, who had previously dated Molly, covering their mouths with their hands.
Catherine Agbaje got to her feet in astonishment, as Molly continued to read out the message, stating: ‘Please pack your bags and say your goodbyes.’
Her voice started to break, as Kady, realising the impact that her decision had, said: ‘Oh my god, I’m so sorry.’
A shocked quiet echoed around the campfire… However, we suspect that there is more to this dumping than meets the eye.
Love Island returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
