A group of ‘clueless kidults’ are to be sent on a countryside survival mission like no other in Netflix’s new reality show Snowflake Mountain.

Snowflake Mountain will see ‘a bunch of clueless kidults who aren’t yet living to their full potential’ taken out into the wilderness for a ‘survival retreat.’

According to Netflix, ‘The back-to-basics camp is a rude awakening to just how pampered their lives have been so far.’

The contestants will have no running water or internet in the programme, which will be filmed in the Lake District with an international cast.

During the course of the mission they will ‘learn to graduate as fully-functioning adults’, with the winner taking home a cash prize.

This exciting show is one of three new UK reality shows commissioned by the streaming giant.

Netflix said in a statement it is ‘ramping up’ their UK unscripted slate and it is ‘thrilled by the ideas pitched from production companies in the UK.’

Two other reality shows were also unveiled, titled Dance Monsters and Dated And Related.

Dance Monsters will see dancers compete in front of an expert panel of judges and a live studio audience.

Each of the competitors will be transformed into ‘loveable and fantastical dance monsters’ through the use of technology.

Netflix teased the intriguing concept by saying contestants will get to ‘escape reality,’ ‘become something truly extraordinary and stand out from the crowd,”

Dated And Related will see a pair of siblings help each other search for a partner.

Will they be successful and help one another find love? Or will the siblings scupper one another’s plans and reveal each other’s darkest secrets?

The three new programmes join a slate of other original reality shows on the platform, including Too Hot to Handle, which was renewed for two more seasons in January 2021.

We can’t wait to see what these new shows have to offer, and no doubt binge-watch them in a week.
