Adam Sandler is pretty much the King of Netflix as it’s been revealed that users have collectively spent billions of hours watching his movies since 2015.
The actor famously signed a huge four-year-contract with the streaming service in 2017 and he’s certainly proving he was worth the money.
In that time he’s starred in Murder Mystery, The Ridiculous 6, Sandy Wexler, and Hubie Halloween.
The critics haven’t necessarily been fans of these films but viewers have tuned in all the same.
According to Variety, users have spent more than two billion hours watching films starring Adam, including his standup special 100% Fresh.
In fact, Hubie Halloween has become Netflix’s most-watched original film on the streamer in the US.
The news came after it was revealed that Happy Gilmore is the actor’s most popular film.
Out of his 64 feature films, a LADbible poll saw the 1996 film about an ice hockey fanatic who discovers his real talent lies with golf land on top.
The result is a bit of a surprise seeing as the film is neither Adam’s most critically-acclaimed movie nor is it his highest-grossing (the latter would be Big Daddy with $234.80 million).
The Waterboy came in second and Grown-Ups bagged third place. Finally, The Longest Yard came in at fourth place.
