Noel Fielding should pull some strings to get his daughter on The Great British Bake Off if these treats are anything to go by.

His partner Lliana Bird revealed their eldest girl Dali – who was born in spring 2018 – has been inspired by the recent series of the Channel 4 baking competition.

The Radio X DJ shared an adorable photo on Instagram showing some of her daughter’s designs, including leaves, a hand with the nails painted and more.

She captioned the sweet snap: ‘Dali’s entry for bake off 2021 going swimmingly then…’

Looks like there’s a future star baker in the making – Dave Friday’s baby has some competition!

She was named after her dad’s favourite surrealist painter Salvador Dali, and Lliana’s social media followers thought it was very apt after seeing her creations.

One fan wrote: ‘Channelling her namesake x’

Another referenced Roald Dhal’s illustrator, and added: ‘Love the hand reminds me of a Quentin Blake sketch x’

Last month, Lliana confirmed the loved up couple had welcomed their second baby into the world as she shared a picture of the family in the form of Halloween decorations.

Clearly getting into the spooky spirit in October, her post included four spiders made out of her old microphone covers were splayed out on a table, with pipe-cleaners for legs, suggesting she had welcomed her second child with Noel alongside Dali.

She wrote: ‘The Bird Fielding family of [spiders] x x (finally figured out what to do with all my old mic covers!) #halloweencrafts’

Below the post one asked which spider was which family member, with Lliana replying and also sharing the adorable name they’d bestowed upon their new one.

She wrote: ‘Noel is pink, dali is orange, i’m grey and iggy is red.’

When another follower congratulated her on her new arrival, Lliana replied, also sharing the gender: ‘thank you she’s a sweet bean x.’
