Warning: spoilers ahead for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4.

Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) is continuing to be one of the highlights of Obi-Wan Kenobi in episode 4, holding her own after being captured by the menacing Reva (Moses Ingram).

Following the epic showdown in episode 3 between Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) – aka his former brother in arms Anakin Skywalker – there are plenty of physical and emotional scars that need healing.

The mission for the Jedi Master, yet again, is to find and save Leia… but this time he has some valuable help.

With only two episodes to go after this, we can’t wait to see how this thrilling tale will end.

Obi-Wan heals after being thrown on flames by Darth Vader

A decade after leaving Anakin to die, in episode three, Obi-Wan came face-to-face with his former Padawan yet again, following his transformation into Darth Vader.

Vader used the Force to slam Obi-Wan into flames, meaning that by episode four, the Jedi Master is in dire need of medical attention.

After being placed in a bacta tank to heal his wounds, Obi-Wan begins experiencing traumatising flashbacks of Anakin, resulting in him trying desperately to get out, despite Tala (Indira Varma) – a defected Imperial officer who’s helping them – insisting that he needs more time to recover.

But recovering is not on the top of Obi-Wan’s priority list, as discovering Leia’s whereabouts is at the forefront of his mind.

Reva tries to interrogate Leia to no avail

Having been intercepted by Reva, the Third Sister, Leia is being interrogated by the Inquisitor about a path that’s been created to help Force-sensitive individuals evade capture.

Despite being told by Obi-Wan is dead and feigning crying to try and gain sympathy from Reva, Leia is not one to give in to interrogation that easily, even withholding the Inquisitor’s attempts to use the Force on her.

At what point, Leia says to Reva: ‘Is this a staring contest?’ and as per usual, fans are absolutely loving her inherent sassiness and fierce streak.

The princess is on the verge of having to suffering pain from a torturous device when a distraction created by Tala and Obi-Wan saves her just in time.

Tala goes back undercover for rescue mission

Obi-Wan and Tala make their way to the Inquisitors’ fortress, where they’ve learnt Leia is being kept after being kidnapped.

Tala manages to improvise her way in, where she’s able to navigate Obi-Wan from the inside.

After arousing suspicion, Tala is confronted by none other than Reva, who she manages to stall long enough to allow Obi-Wan to help Leia escape.

The trio manage to make it away from further assistance, with Obi-Wan using the Force to blast water at Stormtroopers trying to keep them at bay.

Leia and Obi-Wan escape – but Darth Vader might be on their trail

Leia and Obi-Wan have escaped Reva yet again – but they might not be as safe as they think.

When Leia was Reva’s hostage, the Inquisitor took hold of the princess’ droid L0-LA59, affectionately named Lola.

As Leia and Obi-Wan are jetting away, Lola flashes red – making it appear as though Reva has installed a tracker of some sort on it.

Something tells us Darth Vader won’t be far behind.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is available to watch on Disney Plus with new episodes released on Wednesdays.
