Fans of an iconic 2000s sitcom that was cancelled 14 years ago have been taken aback by the ‘ageless’ stars in a new cast reunion photograph.
In a new post on X, actor John C McGinley sent Scrubs fans into a frenzy by posting a photo of himself with his former co-stars Zach Braff, Christa Miller, and Sarah Chalke.
Amanda Kloots, a TV personality, joined the group for the photo, beaming as she wrapped an arm around Zach, who played the lead character JD in the beloved, long-running television series.
If fans’ passionate reactions are any indication, there has never been a greater demand for a reboot with the original cast.
Of course, some notable people were absent from the gathering, including Donald Faison, who played Turk, and Judy Reyes, who portrayed Carla.
Nonetheless, the reunion delighted fans, with many expressing surprise at the actors’ youthful appearance.
‘How does Christa Miller still look 25,’ Larry wrote, while an X user called
Disciple Of Virginia quipped: ‘Lmao, the only thing that aged was Dr Cox’s hair. Are they elves?’
‘Sarah Chalke did not age a day,’ said X user Salty Winter Child, as TK stated wishfully: ‘Great picture hope there is a reboot announcement coming soon!’
Rob also remarked: ‘How come Zach Braff looks just the same 😂,’ while Wilfred asked: ‘Are you filming something!!?? life hasn’t been the same since myself and my partner finished scrubs 😭.’
Christa – who played Jordan on the show, the ex-wife of John’s Dr Cox – also shared the picture on Instagram, writing in the caption: ‘Impromptu pizza party with my Scrubs.’
Bill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs who’s also Christa’s husband in real life, jokingly commented underneath: ‘Was not invited. Weird.’
One person called @teachermang_ pointed out that John is ‘doing the classic Dr Cox pose’, with his arms crossed.
‘The serotonin this just gave me is unmatched. Time for a rewatch,’ added @comedianofcinema. We don’t blame you!
