During Tuesday’s instalment, Gino D’Acampo’s cooking segment was interrupted when Holly tried to fight off a fly.
The ITV host tried to tuck into her pasta when the fly kept buzzing around her head.
‘Who are you fighting?’ Gino quizzed.
‘There’s a fly here that’s trying to get involved in my pasta and it’s going to lose,’ Holly replied as she attempted to wave the fly away with a newspaper.
Holly then screamed ‘It went on my face’ as she almost fell off her chair.
Phillip intervened as he told her he also broke the rules in an attempt to save her from falling.
He said: ‘I thought you were going over backwards then. I was about to break the rules to save you.’
The current guidelines set out from the government means you should stay at least two metres apart from anyone who you don’t share a household with.
Earlier in the show, Holly and Phillip were greeted by an empty kitchen after Gino failed to show up to introduce his segment.
‘Prepare for chaos in the kitchen,’ Phillip explained to viewers. ‘Gino is here for his Tuesday truffle class – morning Gino!’
The camera then panned to an empty kitchen and the celebrity chef was nowhere to be seen.
Phillip continued: ‘There he is, he did promise he’d be here for the beginning but, as usual, nah. Hasn’t made it in.’
‘I love how we used to readjust things, our timings to fit for him and now we’re like, no whatever – he’s not here,’ Holly chipped in. ‘Wherever you are, hurry up.’
Gino did rock up a bit later, where he casually strolled on to set with a coffee in his hand.
We like your style Gino.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
