Piers Morgan doesn’t want to see another ‘sexist’ lipstick ad aimed at women as he calls for gender-neutral promotions

Piers Morgan declared he doesn’t want to see another lipstick ad aimed at women as he launched into a furious rant on today’s Good Morning Britain.

The 55-year-old presenter and his co-host Susanna Reid had been discussing the news that Radox will remove the words ‘for men’ from one of its product ranges following complaints the label is sexist, prompting his outraged response.

‘Women have lipstick and they have make-up ranges and when I last checked when I went down my supermarket store aisle, they’re aimed at women,’ Piers began.

‘I find that sexist.’

‘Sorry, I don’t want lipstick aimed at women,’ he continued. ‘Offensive! Offensive! How dare they?

‘How dare they use women to promote lipstick, I won’t have it I’m going to contact all these companies.

‘I want everything now to be unisex, everything to be gender-neutral, no more marketing towards women, it is illegal and sexist as of now.’

Piers added: ‘I wear make-up and I do not want any make-up marketed to only women, it is sexist.’

Piers was triggered after it was revealed Radox confirmed they would be removing ‘for men’ from their Muscle Therapy bath soaks for good.

‘We can confirm we’re removing the “for men” label from the packaging of our Radox Muscle Therapy Bath Soak whilst continuing to use it on some of our shower gel range,’ a spokesperson said.

‘At Radox we always try to design products that clearly explain their benefits and how they make you feel and smell and have a wide range of products available that can be used by both men and women.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
