Piers Morgan got the TRIC award for interview of the year on Tuesday and made sure to brag about it.
The prize was given to the 58-year-old host for his chat with Cristiano Ronaldo last year.
Piers could be seen sitting in the back of a car wearing a fine suit in a selfie after the ceremony, holding up the prize.
He captioned his snap: ‘Delighted to win Interview of the Year at @tricawardsuk for my @cristiano scoop. Thanks to my brilliant team at @piersmorganuncensored and thanks again Cristiano.’
Making sure to give his own horn a toot before signing off his post, Piers added: ‘I may need to borrow one of your trophy cabinets at this rate!’
The world-famous footballer, 38, spoke to Piers last year on everything from his tenure at Manchester United to his final retirement.

Piers’ victory came when he backed Lewis Capaldi after seeing his performance at Glastonbury.
After stating earlier this month that he would be taking a vacation from all obligations until the music festival, the 26-year-old performed on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday.
Wow. This was amazing. Kudos to @LewisCapaldi for not quitting – and kudos to the #glastonbury2023 crowd for singing him through his obvious issues. pic.twitter.com/pVbDkLY19Q

Lewis, who suffers from Tourette’s syndrome, left the stage in the middle of a song, but his fans rallied around him, singing the song loudly in unison in a magnificent display of support and solidarity.
A video of the performance went viral on social media, with many people commenting on how touching the occasion was.
Piers also praised Lewis, writing on Twitter, ‘Wow. This was incredible. ‘Congratulations to @LewisCapaldi for not quitting, and congratulations to the #glastonbury2023 audience for singing him through his evident troubles.’
‘Special moment at #Glastonbury as the audience helps Lewis Capaldi,’ Channel 5 anchor Dan tweeted, while Victoria Derbyshire said, ‘This is amazing… absolutely beautiful.’
