Piers Morgan is preparing for his interview with Fox Nation’s Tucker Carlson this evening, and he’s reportedly planning to give America the ‘full facts’ about the fallout surrounding Meghan Markle.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter is giving his first TV interview since leaving the show following the row over the Duchess’ bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers is reportedly preparing to ‘go nuclear’ while speaking to Tucker on the US show, according to the Sun.
An insider said: ‘Piers knows full well that he is talking to a tough crowd in America. The majority of people across the States love Meghan and Harry. The Oprah interview sent shockwaves round America and, if anything, only made them even more popular and interesting to people there.
‘But America hasn’t followed all the twists and turns since the interview – and Piers is keen to make sure people know what happened next.’
They added: ‘Piers is keen for US viewers to get the full story and he of course will make his feelings crystal clear again about what Meghan and Harry claimed and speak his truth.

‘He hopes people might look at the Oprah interview a little differently afterwards.’
The 56-year-old will speak to Tucker this evening after his comments on the Duchess of Sussex’s interview prompted a record-breaking number of complaints to Ofcom.
Piers said on air after the original interview with Oprah aired that he didn’t believe several of the Duchess’ claims made at the time – including her revelation that she considered suicide while pregnant with son Archie – an opinion that he doubled down on after his exit.
The presenter previously made a dig at Meghan last week, after he tweeted the news of his interview with Tucker – who has been the host of current affairs show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News since 2016.

‘UPDATE: On Monday, I will give my first interview since leaving Good Morning Britain to @TuckerCarlson on his new @foxnation show, with highlights that evening on his @FoxNews show,’ he wrote.
Piers then added: ‘Was I silent, or was I silenced?’ alongside a crying with laughter emoji – a nod to Oprah’s use of the phrase in her conversation with Meghan.
Piers’ interview with Tucker will be broadcast on Fox Nation programme Tucker Carlson Today.
