Radio 1’s Jordan North recorded ‘secret’ message to Greg James about I’m A Celeb stint

Radio 1’s Jordan North has revealed he recorded a ‘secret’ message to Greg James about his stint on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The DJ is just one of 10 celebs taking part in the 2020 series, and we can’t wait to see him in action.

Taking to the official Radio 1 Twitter account, Jordan shared the secret news with his pal Greg and his fans.

‘Hi Greg, it’s Jordan,’ he began in the clip.

‘Although I am currently in a top-secret location, at the time of recording this message, I am in the studio next door to you.

‘I have sneakily snuck into this studio to record you this message.’

‘Greg, and the Radio 1 listeners, I can’t even believe I am going to say this out loud, I’m going to be on this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ he continued.

‘And I just want to let you know, that I am so so scared and so nervous and petrified and I can’t believe I am about to do this.

‘This is a show I have watched pretty much every year since I was a child and now I am going to be on it.’

The 30-year-old went on to list off all of his phobias as he questioned why he was doing the show.

He added: ‘I am trying not to think about it, but you know and the Radio 1 listeners will know I am scared of everything.

‘I’m claustrophobic, I don’t get in lifts, I don’t like snakes, I don’t like spiders, I don’t like rats, I don’t like water, I don’t like the dark, I don’t like flying, I don’t like heights – I am petrified of all of these things.

‘So why I am doing this, I am not quite sure.’

We are not sure either…

Jordan concluded the message by telling his listeners that he hopes he doesn’t let them down as he pleaded for their support.

Other names thrown into the mix this year are AJ Pritchard, Sir Mo Farah and Victoria Derbyshire.

Things on the show are going to be a bit different this year, especially after bosses swapped the Australian jungle for the Welsh countryside.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns on Sunday on ITV.
