Ranvir Singh made a swipe at Harry Styles’ Brit Awards outfit as she kickstarted today’s episode of Good Morning Britain.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and newsreader had been watching a segment on the latest entertainment headlines when she offered her opinion on the Watermelon Sugar singer’s brown suit.
‘We’ll have Richard Arnold’s take on it soon,’ Ranvir said of the Brits coverage. ‘And that burnt toast suit, which struck me as slightly odd.’
Richard defended Harry’s ensemble of choice though, remarking: ‘I thought it was absolutely fantastic.
‘As my mum would say: Hasn’t he grown?’
The artist took home the gong for best British single for his hit Watermelon Sugar and took to the stage to accept it.
After showing off his brown flared number, Harry said: ‘I continue to be baffled by moments like this.
‘They make me more and more incredibly grateful to get to do this every day. I’m really happy to be here and proud to be celebrating British music tonight.’
Elsewhere at the Brits last night, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards were pictured cradling their baby bumps on the red carpet as they led the celeb arrivals.
The girl band went on to make history after winning British group and made sure to give a special shout-out to former member Jesy Nelson.
Dua Lipa used her acceptance speech to ‘send a message’ to Boris Johnson as she called for NHS workers to get a pay rise.
She also dedicated one of her awards to Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole, the 20-year-old hero who died after jumping into the River Thames to save a woman.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
