Ridley Scott has recommended watching his latest project Raised By Wolves with not one, not two, but three bottles of wine.
The 41-year-old director, whose new sci-fi series landed on Sky Atlantic this week, made his suggestion while talking about the ease of being able to stream a whole show in one sitting.
‘With a TV show like ours, you can sit there with three bottles of wine and watch all 10 hours if you want,’ Travis told the Guardian.
He added to the publication that he’d happy if everything he made going forward went straight to streaming.
Raised By Wolves is a 10-part drama which centres on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet.
‘As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task,’ teases the synopsis.
After a striking debut on HBO Max, the series received a season two renewal and is slated to return to the platform in 2021.
Vikings star Travis Fimmel leads the cast of Raised By Wolves, playing lead character Marcus, a high-ranking soldier who dons a fake alias.
The actor is best known for his portrayal of the Nordic king Ragnar Lothbrok in the History Channel series and previously teased the two characters are basically the same person.
‘It doesn’t matter what world you’re in; it’s still got the same emotions,’ he told The Slate.
‘I have relationship problems in this Ridley Scott thing [Raised By Wolves]. I have a child that I’ve got to care for and who I want to love me, and I want my wife to love me.’
Raised By Wolves is available to stream on HBO Max, Sky and NOW TV.
