RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 episode 2 first look: Savage twist leaves queens gagged and fighting for their place

RuPaul is not messing around in season 13 of Drag Race, with a new savage twist in store for the latest line-up.

After forcing them all into head-to-head Lipsyncs For Your Life, this year’s queens have been firmly split down the middle – and now have to decide among themselves who to send home.

In the Pork Chop Loading Dock, named after the iconic queen Pork Chop, the first ever eliminated contestant from Drag Race, the seven losing queens are told they can fight for survival.

But first they have to throw someone else under the bus.

In the first look clip from episode two, the queens are left horrified as a box of lipsticks with their names on them is brought out, and one-by-one they have to make their decision, and share it to the camera.

Joey Jay is first up, choosing Elliott with Two Ts for ‘not having the right looks’ compared to the rivals.

‘I hate to be this shallow b***h but I’m not a an of chicken feathers,’ Denali reasons, choosing Joey Jay during her choice.

Kahmora Hall chooses Utica Queen, while Rose admits her struggles and says in the confessional: ‘I don’t want to crush somebody’s dream and I definitely do not want my dream to be crushed.’

Her choice is ultimately not shown, and neither are any of the remaining choices – but Ru then chimes in and announces that it’s even more complicated…

…The votes have come back in a tie-break situation.

So now what? We can’t handle this suspense!

Who’s going to be eliminated first? Not too much longer to find out.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 airs Fridays on VH1 in the US, and Saturdays on Netflix in the UK.
