Warning: spoilers ahead for episode 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 3.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK fans were absolutely floored by guest judge Lulu when she made an outrageous X-rated joke on tonight’s episode, as RuPaul cackled in shock at the singer’s gag.
Tonight’s episode of Drag Race UK season 3 saw the queens take part in the highly-anticipated Snatch Game, with Ella Vaday sweeping the competition as Nigella Lawson and Kitty Scott-Claus pulling off an impressive homage to Towie star Gemma Collins.
On the runway, the category was ‘Feeling Fruity’, as the contestants showcased ensembles inspired by fruits including watermelons, cherries and dragon fruits ahead of the brutal elimination.
Before the runway took place, as is tradition, head judge Ru addressed her panel from centre stage, delivering introductions for Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and extra special guest judge Lulu.
As part of her introduction for the Shout singer, Ru asked her: ‘Quick question – how do you thank someone who’s taken you from crayons to perfume?’, in reference to her 1967 song To Sir with Love.
Finishing off the lyrics, Lulu replied: ‘I’d write across the sky in letters that soar a thousand feet high,’ before making a saucy addition by quipping: ‘Or I could give them a blowjob?’
Ru couldn’t believe what she’d just heard, breaking out into uncontrollable hysterics as Michelle and Graham also burst into laughter.
‘I’d go with option B!’ Graham chimed in, as the chuckles continued.
Numerous Drag Race UK fans expressed how hilarious they found the remark, with several saying that they would have never expected Lulu to speak out about blowjobs on the BBC.
‘Well Lulu saying blowjob on the BBC wasn’t on my 2021 bingo card,’ one person tweeted.
‘I’m grateful this episode brought us Bloody Lulu saying “blowjob” on telly,’ another said.
‘Hearing Lulu say “blow job” has sent me over the f**king edge,’ someone stated, while another said that they were ‘shook’.
One fan said that Lulu’s blowjob joke is why they ‘love the British guest judges the most’.
Following the judges’ critiques, Choriza May and River Medway landed in the bottom two, performing a lip sync to Lulu’s 1964 Shout for a chance to stay in the competition.
Despite leaving everything on the stage, in the end, Ru said that she didn’t feel like they had given enough to the performance, resulting in a harsh double sashay away as both of the queens were eliminated from the competition.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns next Thursday at 7pm on BBC Three and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
