RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 3 will welcome Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Alesha Dixon, and Emma Bunton as extra special guest judges when the show launches next month.

The three celebrities are the latest names to join the line-up, which already includes Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse, Bake Off’s Matt Lucas, and comedian Kathy Burke.

They are set to join the iconic UK judging panel consisting of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan Carr.

Singer and songwriter Leigh-Anne Pinnock follows in the footsteps of fellow bandmate Jade Thirwall, who appeared on the first series of the acclaimed BBC Three show.

‘I love the creativity and the drama!’ she enthused. ‘And the outfits always amaze me! I can’t wait for the world to see the queens.’

Singer Emma Bunton, also known as Baby Spice will also join RuPaul on the main stage panel, having previously appeared on All Stars.

Selling over 90million records worldwide, Spice Girls became the best-selling female group of all time. With legendary status as one of pop’s biggest names, Emma is set to bring her pop expertise to the judging panel.

‘As soon as you’ve been around the Drag Race team you wanna be a part of it as much as you can!’ she enthused.

Alesha Dixon also joins the stellar line-up. Rising to fame in the early 2000s as a member of the R&B trio Mis-Teeq, she certainly knows a thing or two about girl groups.

Since leaving the band, she has sat on the judging panels of Strictly Come Dancing and Britain’s Got Talent, now adding RuPaul’s Drag Race UK to her judging panel resume.

‘What is there not to love about Drag Race UK?!’ Alesha exclaimed. ‘The craziness… the costumes… the sassiness.. the Lip Syncing! I love it all and I’m here for it.’

BBC Three unveiled the 12 contestants on the line-up for the third season last month, with the first-ever cisgender woman, Victoria Scone, set to compete for the crown.

Just a matter of weeks stand in the way before the official launch, and honestly, we can’t wait.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns to BBC iPlayer from 7pm Thursday 23 September.
