RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: Tayce throws shade at Lawrence Chaney over sexual tension comment

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK got seriously shady tonight as Tayce threw Lawrence Chaney a savage clap back after she reported ‘sexual tension’ between her and A’Whorea to Mama Ru.

Before the shock elimination, Lawrence told RuPaul that things were heating up in the workroom between the two queens – and this didn’t go down well with Tayce.

‘Now, Lawrence Chaney has said there is some chemistry between you two. Is this true?’ Ru asked as she visited Tayce and A’Whorea’s station.

‘I heard about this,’ said Tayce in response. ‘What did she say? Something about sexual tension?’

‘Yes,’ replied Ru. ‘Is there?’

‘No! We just no each other,’ insisted Tayce. ‘Though to be honest with you Lawrence Cheney wouldn’t know sexual chemistry if it slapped her across the chops. So it is what it is, what can you do?’

She added: ‘I’m just over here trying to make a garment.’

Lawrence was completely oblivious to Tayce’s remark as she was sat out of ear shot.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, RuPaul tested the queens’ creative sewing skills – and their friendships – as they were pitted against each other in a design challenge called Who Wore It Best?

The queens were split into pairs, and assigned a colour from which they had to create a beautiful runway look, unbeknownst to the queens they were to be judged in pairs.

British Supermodel Jourdan Dunn joined Michelle Visage and Graham Norton on the judging panel as the third queen was eliminated from the competition.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK airs Thursdays at 7pm on BBC iPlayer.
