Rylan Clark-Neal has returned to the One Show in style – by matching with the new sofa.
The 32-year-old has had a tough few months, following the breakdown of his marriage with husband Dan Neal.
But, ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s return to the small screen on Saturday, the star co-hosted tonight’s episode of the One Show, beside Ronan Keating.
Smiling widely – while donning a green jumper and black trousers – he told viewers: ‘It’s so lovely to be back and I thought I’d celebrate by dressing as the new sofas.
‘Thank you for having me back.’
Fans were also thrilled to have Rylan back on their screens, and flocked to Twitter to celebrate the news.
‘Lovely to see Rylan back on the #TheOneShow,’ a viewer enthused.
Another agreed: ‘Oh what a lovely surprise to turn on #TheOneShow and see the lovely @Rylan back on our screens!! WELCOME BACK!! #favouritepresenter.’
‘Awwwww Rylan yay!! Wonderful!! Very happy to see him back on my TV. #TheOneShow,’ a follower said.
As one added: ‘Yay so happy to see Rylan back! Can’t wait to watch later #TheOneShow.’
Rylan took time out from the public eye following the breakdown of his marriage to Dan, having an extended break from his work commitments on his BBC2 Radio Show and the Eurovision semi-finals.
The former couple met eight years ago and tied the knot in a small ceremony in 2015, surrounded by close friends and family, but it wasn’t to last and they called time on their romance earlier this year.
Speaking of their split in a rare Instagram statement, he added: ‘We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most.
‘I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course.’
