After six weeks of brutal tasks, which saw recruits pushed to the absolute limit, the two successful contestants have completed the 2021 series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Professional Irish dancer Connor and dental engineer Kieran were the only two recruits left standing at the end of the series, having made it through and completed the course in style.

Having set the pace since the earliest part of the process, Connor finished the final challenge in the first place, with instructors Ant Middleton, Jason Fox, Billy Billingham, Anthony Stacker and Melvyn Downes congratulating him.

‘You’ve no idea how much it means to me,’ Connor said, with tears of joy in his eyes.

Kieran also made it through, with Ant admitting that he’d taken him by surprise after coming so far.

‘I need to stop doubting myself,’ Kieran said, having proved everybody wrong – including himself – during the show.

While 21 recruits began the course, only four recruits were left standing before the final trial. It saw them act as individuals, taking on the other contestants individually.

They were told to carry heavy equipment and travel three kilometers to the peak of the mountain. The last recruit at each the halfway point was eliminated.

Connor and Keiran were the first two recruits to reach the mark, followed by Adam. It meant that Tyler was the first eliminated during the final task.

Finally, Adam was withdrawn, meaning that Connor and Keiran were the two contestants to make it through to the end.

It came after the recruits were reduced to tears during a brutal interrogation task during the first part of Sunday’s finale, which pushed them further than any other challenge in the series.

It saw youngest contestant Justine left unable to speak after being overcome with emotion, before Sean and DJ also withdrew.
