Saturday Night Takeaway: Ant & Dec in hysterics as they team up with Harry and Jamie Redknapp for prank

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are up to no good with Jamie and Harry Redknapp in the hotly-anticipated return episode of Saturday Night Takeaway.

In a teaser clip ahead of the show’s long-awaited comeback this weekend, the Geordie duo team up with the father and son football legends for a hilarious game of I’m A Celebrity… Get Out Of Me Ear.

Get Out Of Me Ear is a Saturday Night Takeaway classic where Ant and Dec give a celebrity a concealed earpiece, and task them with doing whatever the pair instruct them to do before unsuspecting public members.

This time around, Ant and Dec prank an unsuspecting transport manager by instructing Harry and Jamie to rope him into a new restaurant project – and of course, the whole interview is riddled with football puns.

‘If we try and get you from the firm you’re with now, do you think they’ll be a transfer fee involved or?’ Harry was told to ask.

Jamie was in stitches over his dad’s comments and spat out his tea, almost blowing their cover.

‘No dad, that’s not how it works!’ he interrupts, trying to maintain a straight face. ‘If we’re going to do this business, it’s not how it works.’

‘So you’re a free transfer?’ Harry continues to their guest, who is none the wiser.

After bursting into laughter, Jamie offers a little bit of an explanation.

‘He has to equate everything to football,’ he said. ‘It’s the only way we can do it with him.’

‘If we had to pay a fee, what would we be talking?’ Harry continues. ‘A couple of million? Two million?’

By this point, Ant and Dec are in complete hysterics and struggle to contain themselves as they watch on from the studio.

This weekend’s Saturday Night Takeaway will be packed full with funny moments and giveaways.

The Honoured trilogy series has now finished and we have a brand-new mini-series called Double Trouble in which Ant & Dec have been cloned and the clones have gone rogue.

The new adventure will feature many celebrities including Bear Grylls, Prue Leith, Rob Brydon, Alison Hammond and Jermaine Jenas.

Meanwhile, Fleur East is back with a brand new segment and Stephen Mulhern returns to put the boys through his usual brand of high-octane, surprise Ant vs Dec challenges.

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
