Jerry Seinfeld has hinted about a Seinfeld reunion 25 years after the show ended.
The comedy, which also starred Michael Richards, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jason Alexander, aired for nine seasons from 1989 to 1998 and depicted a semi-fictionalized depiction of the lead actor’s life with his close pals.
The two-part finale had a massive viewership of more than 76 million people when it first broadcast, but it was critically panned by those who saw.
A new video from the 69-year-old’s comedy act in Boston over the weekend has emerged, in which he hinted that’something was about to happen’ regarding that disputed episode.
On stage, Jerry, who has recently made news for his love life, was asked about the show he co-created with Larry David, and whether he liked how it ended.
‘Well, I have a little secret for you about the ending… But I can’t really tell it, because it is a secret,’ he replied, remaining coy.

The audience erupted at the update, virtually drowning Jerry out in enthusiasm.
‘Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet,’ he continued.
‘Just what you are thinking about, Larry and I have also been thinking about. So, you’ll see.’
Fans couldn’t get enough of the comments and raced to Twitter to speculate on what would happen next.
‘He and Larry are cooking up something,’ one penned.
A follower replied: ‘This could be awesome! More Seinfeld!’
A Twitter user suggested: ‘This is going to be a Super Bowl commercial.’
‘I’m guessing a Super Bowl ad featuring the cast,’ a commenter agreed.
Seinfeld saw the actor portray a semi-fictional version of himself, leading a star-studded ensemble through day-to-day living in New York, lamenting life, love, and a variety of awkward circumstances.
The episodes of the sitcom were notably bookended by clips of his stand-up comedy, as the character, like his real-life counterpart, is a comedian.
During its nine-year run, the show won ten Emmys, including three for Michael as a supporting comedy actor and one for Julia as a supporting comedy actress.
