Netflix has proven to be reality show Gods by finally confirming Selling Sunset for two more seasons as well as an all-Black, all-female spin-off.
The streaming service made the announcement as part of a mega slate of upcoming docu-soap shows, which also includes second season of Bling Empire.
Selling Sunset will pick up after Christine Quinn’s wedding and all the drama we’ve missed – so will likely include Christine’s pregnancy, Chrishell Stause’s relationship and split with Keo Motsepe, as well as the division of the Oppenheim brothers as they focus on different elements of their business.
As well as seasons four and five of Selling Sunset and Bling Empire, the spin-off will move cameras from the Hollywood hills to Florida for a look at life at Allure Realty.
Allure Realty is a company owned by Sharelle Rosado, a former military veteran who runs am all female real estate firm.
The synopsis states: ‘These ladies are equally as fun as they are fiercely ambitious, with all of them vying to be on top of the lavish world of luxury waterfront real estate.
‘Sharelle has big plans for her brokerage and won’t let anyone or anything get in the way of making her dreams a reality. ‘
The show doesn’t have an official name yet – but we’re already 110% invested.
Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series, said in the announcement: ‘Whether you love these shows outright or just love a guilty pleasure, we’re thrilled that Netflix members have embraced our docusoaps.
‘Today we’re excited to announce renewals for Selling Sunset and Bling Empire, plus two can’t miss new series from the creative talents behind those favourites.’
A second new series, titles My Unorthodox Life, will be focused around Julia Haart – a fashion mogul who was formerly a member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
A mother-of-four, Julia has opened up her doors to discuss life as a mum as she tries to balance the culture of their former Othodox life, with the one they have now.
