There’s no hard feelings between Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause and her ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim as she moves on with G Flip. In fact, they really just want each other to be happy.
Luxury real estate agent Chrishell confirmed her new relationship with the Australian rapper after her split from Jason Oppenheim in the explosive Netflix reunion that followed season five.
While the news appeared to shock Maya Vander in particular, everybody seems to be supportive of the new romance.
Chrishell opened up on her feelings towards Jason in a video shared on her Instagram page.
‘As much as I wish what I wanted in my last relationship aligned the same things, it didn’t, and that’s okay,’ she said.
‘And that doesn’t diminish how much love we have for each other, Jason and I. We want each other to genuinely be happy.’
She later added: ‘I feel like Jason and I, we genuinely want the best for each other. I know he didn’t have someone to speak about that he’s dating, but that doesn’t mean his not living his best life.’
Chrishell went on to discuss her new relationship with the non-binary star G Flip, adding that despite being at different stages in life, they still share a ‘deep connection’.
‘I don’t know what that [my future] will end up looking like, but I do feel I will attribute the fact that I have so many more options and things in my future,’ she said.
‘I know that some of you won’t agree with this or understand this, but for me, it is about the person, it is about their heart. Yes, there’s that part of you of what you’re attracted to, but for me, I am attracted to masculine energy, and I don’t really care what the physical form is.’
During the reunion, which was hosted by Queer Eye’s Tan France, Chrishell told her co-stars of her new romance with G Flip.
‘You don’t get to choose when you meet someone in their life,’ she exclaimed. ‘Recently I met someone who is in a different place in their life as well…’
She continued: ‘I’ve been spending a lot of time with someone who is very important to me, they’re called G Flip, they’re non-binary so they go by they/them.
‘They’re an extremely talented musician and it all started because I was going to be in their video.’
Selling Sunset is available to stream on Netflix.
