Sarah Shahi has provided us with a behind-the-scenes look at how she prepares for the numerous personal moments on Sex/Life.
The filthy moments on the programme generated quite a sensation, but the 43-year-old actress has admitted that not all was as it looked, as Sarah donned artificial breasts to produce the much-discussed sequences.
‘These were not my boobs,’ she stated on Instagram.
‘I wore them in any sex scene with Cooper or if I had to show boob while breastfeeding.’
The since-expired Instagram story was reported on by People, who also shared that Sarah spent three to four hours in the makeup chair each day on set.
Sarah also described how the boobs were matched on her physique. ‘See?? ‘Silicone glue right there,’ she wrote, pointing to the bottle on her dressing table.
Because of the nature of the narrative (and the title! ), Sarah was compelled to record quite a few NSFW sequences for the Netflix programme, which ran for two seasons.
Sarah portrayed Billie Mann in season one, who was married to Cooper (Mike Vogel) but fantasised about her sex life with ex-lover Brad, who was played by her real-life partner Adam Demos.
The second season focuses on Billie and Cooper’s choice to divorce and their efforts to move on from each other.
Adam had his own big moment when he came out of the shower nude, causing 20 million people to pause and replay.
Speaking generally about the steamy scenes and naked moments the 38-year-old told Entertainment Weekly: ‘I was okay with it because you read the script and know what you’re getting yourself into from the start, so I don’t think you would sign on to a show after reading the scripts and then say no last minute.’
In season two, Cooper’s buddy Devon (Jonathan Sadowski) revealed the results of his penile reconstructive procedure in a gym changing room.

Devon’s manhood was severed in a vehicle accident because he was getting a blow job at the time of the incident, causing his buddy to chew it off.
Devon was ecstatic with the job of doctors as he showed off his new wig in front of his friends, bragging, ‘I actually grew an inch.’
Despite producing water cooler moments, the show ended after two seasons.
