Sir Brian May of Queen was effusive in his comments after seeing schoolboy Harry Churchill completely destroy his guitar solo audition on Britain’s Got Talent.
On Saturday night, Harry, 11, came to the stage in an attempt to impress judges Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and Bruno Tonioli, 67.
The child shook out to a Queen medley and performed some of the band’s biggest tunes, including We Will Rock You, which he played behind his back while playing the guitar.
The judges were impressed with Harry’s talent and gave him four yeses, ensuring that he advanced to the next round.
But it wasn’t only the panellists who were impressed; Sir Brian, 75, couldn’t stop himself from praising the young star.

Taking to Instagram, Sir Brian posted a video of Harry’s audition.
‘Harry Rocks!!!!’ he exclaimed. ‘Had to post this … congratulations Harry Churchill @harrysguitartime on smashing it tonight on @bgt!!!
‘Go kill’em!!! Thanks @taliadean for the tip-off ! Bri.’
Sir Brian’s admirers were also astounded and rushed to express themselves, with one writing: ‘Wow! Continue to rock, Harry!! Eleven years old! You had to be kidding me! Fantastic!! Sir Bri, thank you for sharing!’
Another added: ‘Hell yeah, he delivered!!’
Is Harry good enough to go on and win the entire series? Time will tell…
Sir Brian, of course, co-founded the rock band Queen with the late Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor, 73.
His guitar playing and lyrics helped the world-famous band become one of the most successful in music history.
Have the BGT judges discovered a young Sir Brian in Harry?
Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
