Snoop Dogg plays his own children as he saves the planet in hilarious Christmas advert for SodaStream

Snoop Dogg has shared his secrets for happiness in a hilarious new Christmas advert for SodaStream.

The Doggfather, 49, teamed up with SodaStream for his latest television ad in which he ‘saves the planet’ and his turtle pal by switching over from single use bottles.

Snoop tells the audience: ‘Many people ask me, “Snoop Dogg, how come you’re always so happy?” It’s fairly simple. I believe the small things are the most meaningful.

‘Yeah, the small things. So this year instead of throwing a big holiday party I enjoy a simple dinner with my family.’

The rapper is then seen enjoying a ‘small’ family Christmas dinner (at a table capable of serving a veritable banquet) with his dog and his son and daughter – both played by him and sporting some pretty disturbing facial hair.

He tells them: ‘Hey! No screens!’, to which his daughter replies: ‘I’m in school’, and his son adds: ‘I’m watching your old music videos.’

Snoop quips: ‘That’s education right there.’

As well as burning the image of Snoop Dogg as a moustached teen girl in our brains for life, the ad also promotes the switch from single use plastic bottles of water to help save the planet and the sea turtles.

Snoop adds: ‘Think small. Since we had to cancel our culinary trip I enjoy a little baking right here at home.

‘And I don’t need to start a nature relief fund to help save the planet from plastic waste. I simply enjoy fresh sparkling water with a nearly extinct friend.

‘By the way, one SodaStream bottle can save thousands of single use plastic bottles, so who’s thinking small now? I just saved the planet.’

Snoop added of his latest advert campaign: ‘I love my SodaStream so it was natural for me to partner up with them for this campaign.

‘They make a great product and a big difference in the world. I am happy to help spread the love!’
