Stacey Solomon has a new date set for her wedding to Joe Swash, as she shared the details during a return to Loose Women.
In October this year, the former X Factor contestant gave birth to a baby girl called Rose, her second child that she shares with her fiancé, Joe.
The couple became engaged in December 2020, but had to postpone their nuptials due to the pandemic and Stacey’s pregnancy.
On Christmas Eve, a special episode of Loose Women is due to air at 10am, with Stacey set to appear alongside Joe, 39, in a video chat.
Speaking from their home Pickle Cottage in Essex, the 32-year-old said that ‘if all goes well – because Covid’s still massive and you never know what’s around the corner’, they would ‘love to get married in July next year’.
‘It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there,’ she added.
Stacey and Joe also share a son called Rex, who was born in 2019, while Stacey has two older sons and is stepmum to Joe’s son from a previous relationship.
The Loose Women star said that it’s ‘such an exciting time for Rex’, as at two and a half years old, this year’s Christmas is the first that he can really take in.
‘The older boys are excited for him as well. It’s so lovely and nice to see them all together getting excited. And it’s just nice to be in the house,’ she added.
As they looked forward to who would be doing the cooking on Christmas Day, Joe admitted that he hasn’t done much in the kitchen since he appeared on Celebrity MasterChef this year, but promised he’s ‘saving it for the Christmas dinner’.
Discussing how their lives have changed since the birth of their daughter, who was born on Stacey’s birthday, the TV personality confessed that she sometimes forgets Rose is a girl and says: ‘Pass him over.’
Joe explained that he’s had to learn to be ‘more gentle and delicate’ with the baby, as he is typically more ‘boisterous’ with the boys.
‘She’s amazing, she’s really lovely. I can’t stop staring at her. Even when she does sleep, I don’t get any sleep because I’m just staring at her,’ Stacey said.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
