Stand Up To Cancer is set to return with a star-studded line up, with Davina McCall, Alan Carr, Adam Hills and Maya Jama confirmed to host.

The fundraiser evening will take place on Friday, October 15, and will see a stellar line-up of celebrities taking part to raise as much money as possible to tackle cancer.

Joe Lycett will be updating the totaliser throughout the evening to reveal how much has been raised, while stars from music, television and sports will lend a hand too.

Among those who have signed up to take part are Liam Gallagher, LiamPayne, The Jonas Brothers, Usain Bolt, Olivia Colman and Stephen Mangan.

Also attending on the night will be James Blunt, Rosie Jones, The Derry Girls, Jack Black, Sigrid, David Oyelowo, Martin Freeman, Peter Crouch, Jamie Oliver, Tom Parker, Roman Kemp and Dermot Kennedy.

The money raised on the evening will go towards funding life-saving research into cancer. Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 and has raised over £84million in the UK to date, funding 59 clinical trials and projects involving over 19,000 cancer patients across the country.

As well as an evening of celebrity cameos, Gogglebox will also return for a special celebrity episode to cast their verdict on an array of TV shows.

Tributes will also be paid to those fighting cancer and those who have recently been lost to the disease which affects 1 in 2 people in their lifetime.

The money raised helps fund research projects including the development of new treatments that use viruses to fight cancer, clinical trials testing potentially more effective ways to deliver radiotherapy, improved surgical techniques for bowel cancer and much more.

Stand Up To Cancer will air on Friday, October 15 on Channel 4 and donations can be made at channel4.com/su2c with 100% of your donation going to Cancer Research UK in support of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
