This year’s John Lewis Christmas advert is finally here, this time featuring a heartwarming love story between a girl from space and a boy who shows her all the festive traditions.
The two-minute campaign, which is set to Lola Young’s cover of Together in Electric Dreams, sees young lad Nathan befriend Skye after she lands in the woods beside his home.
Nathan shows Skye the magic of Christmas as he amusingly encourages her to try her first mince pie and introduces her to the joy of thoughtful gifting by giving her his jumper.
The actors playing Skye and Nathan are familiar faces, having appeared in a number of major films and television shows.

The 2015 film saw lead stars Redmayne and Felicity Jones take home Oscars for best actress and best actor.

He is better known for his lead role as the iconic Peter Pan in the live action feature film Come Away, in which he starred opposite Angelina Jolie and David Oyelowo.
Other recent work includes playing the lead role of Terry in the hit BBC’s Call the Midwife, and having a guest appearance on the comedy series Breeders opposite Martin Freeman.
Jordan has also starred in the hit Disney blockbuster, Aladdin, playing Will Smith’s son Omar.
