After absolutely smashing her Movie Week American Smooth to I Have Nothing from The Bodyguard, AJ told Claudia Winkleman: ‘I do feel emotional because…I’ve had a lot of self-doubt this week and I really wanted to execute it well.
‘I didn’t want to let anyone down, especially Kai, with such a beautiful dance.’

Fans were thrilled for her, with one writing: ‘Woah, AJ and Kai actually gave me goosebumps…’
‘So emotional loved this american smooth from aj and kai they have the most incredible partnership. and can we just talk about the lifts, you know its good when some of the judges stand up in the middle of the dance,’ another added.
One more said: ‘AJ and Kai. That’s the tweet. Just wow.’
Former Strictly star Ranvir Singh recently revealed she calmed AJ down after she was left ‘panicking’ over her foxtrot.
Chatting to host Rylan Clark-Neal on It Takes Two, she said: ‘I actually had a chat with her over the phone, she was panicking a bit about the foxtrot and I said, “Well Anton always said if it doesn’t hurt, you’re not doing it right.”
‘I think she is the one to beat in the show,’ she added.
