Janette, 37, has been a professional dancer on BBC programme Strictly since 2013, joining the show in the same year as her husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, 30.
In her second year, she made it to the semi-finals with EastEnders actor Jake Wood, finishing in fifth place overall.
This year is the furthest Janette has ever gone in the competition, reaching the final alongside her celebrity partner, 21-year-old singer HRVY.
Looking ahead to Saturday’s final, Janette shared that she is going to miss HRVY ‘so much’ when this year’s series is over.
‘Not many days left dancing with this wonderful person… enjoying every second of every step!’ she wrote in a post shared on Twitter and Instagram, alongside a picture of them performing the Rumba on last week’s show.
‘Going to miss him so much when it’s all said and done… He really has become a little diamond in my heart forever.’
The dancer also added the heartfelt hashtags ‘#TeamFieryMess’ and ‘#iWillMissHim’.
Several social media users commented on Janette’s post, praising the chemistry between her and HRVY on the dancefloor.
‘The chemistry between the two of you was obvious from the beginning. His work ethic, his willingness and ability to learn, drove you to beautiful choreographic heights we have not seen before,’ one person said.
‘Between you, you did an outstanding job! You deserve all the praise anyone can give.’
On Wednesday evening, fellow Strictly professional Anton Du Beke showered Janette with praise during an appearance on The One Show, saying that he’s ‘delighted’ she’s reached the final for the first time.
‘I’m thrilled for HRVY and I think he’s a super, super talent, but I’m really delighted for Janette. I can’t tell you,’ he said.
Anton added that in his opinion, Janette and HRVY’s American Smooth from Musicals Week was his ‘dance of the series’.
Responding to Anton’s comments on Twitter, Janette wrote: ‘Awwwwww!!!! Thank you @TheAntonDuBeke for these beautiful words!
‘You are the #KingOfBallroom and of @bbcstrictly in my eyes! Love you!’
HRVY and Janette became the first couple on this year’s Strictly to receive a perfect score, which they were awarded for their Couple’s Choice Street/Commercial routine.
It also marked the earliest point ever in the competition that a pairing have received 10s from all of the judges, achieving the feat in week six.
The Strictly Come Dancing final will air at 6pm on Saturday on BBC One.
