Strictly Come Dancing will finally be back this weekend and Dan Walker has shared a very relatable behind-the-scenes look after rehearsal number one.
The BBC series filmed its launch show over the weekend, which will air on Saturday night.
Now, with those taking part remaining tight-lipped over who they’re coupled up with until the show airs, many of the stars are already giving a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of the journey so far.
One celeb contestant clearly taking the process in his stride already is BBC Breakfast host Dan.
Getting candid about his training, he posted a hilarious look at how he was left feeling after his first rehearsal for the show with his mystery partner.
Dan was pictured lying face-down and hugging the floor, clearly shattered after a very long day.
‘First #Strictly training session after getting up at 3am this morning,’ he wrote in the caption, adding: ‘Shattered but ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!’
Former Strictly pro Kevin Clifton commented: ‘Oh I know that feeling,’ with fellow pro Nancy Xu adding a string of laughing emojis underneath the post.
It comes after Dan teased the identity of his partner to his followers after filming the series launch.
In a clip, he said: ‘I met my pro partner this week. I can’t tell you anything about her because I’ll be killed by a Strictly ninja.
‘But what I can say? She’s patient, she’s kind and she’s lovely.’
Just who will 6ft 6in Dan be paired with when the show begins this weekend?
This year’s famous faces have already been having a whale of a time preparing for the show to begin.
Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies shared a lovely snap having drinks and dinner alongside Dan, Adam Peaty and Ugo Monye after their first day of filming.
‘So, you’d have thought if I was going for dinner with my new strictly pals @adam_peaty @mrdanwalker and @ugomonye that I would have at least worn a bra, brushed my hair and put some makeup on…
‘But alas no… the spray tan was the priority so we’ve been sat in the hotel bar gossiping and drinking wine with me looking like this… but I’ve had THE BEST NIGHT with my new friends!!!’
Strictly Come Dancing begins on Saturday at 7:45pm on BBC One.
