It looks like Strictly Come Dancing champion Rose Ayling-Ellis has stayed true to the show’s signature catchphrase ‘keep dancing’ following her victorious win.
The spectacular final saw the 27-year-old actress and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice take home the glitterball after facing off against John Whaite and Johannes Radebe.
Although some time has passed since the series wrapped for the year, Rose proved that she hasn’t forgotten the impressive moves she learned during her 13 weeks of training.
The star demonstrated the iconic Dirty Dancing lift with her brother Jacob and shared the cute picture on Instagram.
Alongside the image, Rose wrote: ‘Strictly you’re still not out of my system.’
Rose made history on Strictly this year, becoming the first deaf contestant to take part.
The EastEnders actress celebrated the deaf community on several occasions in her performances by incorporating sign language into their routines.
Their memorable Couple’s Choice dance also featured a moment of silence which reduced viewers to tears and led to prasie from the National Deaf Children’s Society.
According to language learning site Preply, the demand for learning sign language has increased by 100% over the series thanks to Rose and Giovanni.
Next year, Giovanni is set to go on tour, performing in several locations across the UK.
In an announcement made on Instagram, dance production company Strictly Theatre Co revealed that three of the dancer’s performances will feature a sign language interpreter.
In the caption, the company wrote: ‘We are delighted to make this announcement… @pernicegiovann1 A massive thank you to @becktheatre @bridgewaterhall & Glasgow Concert Hall for making this possible!’
As for Rose, the star is likely to be in high demand in the new year, and it’s reported she could become a millionaire thanks to lucrative future projects.
