In extremely exciting news, today the first three contestants for Strictly Come Dancing 2021 are being announced, with new stars Tom Fletcher and Robert Webb set to bring entertainment galore to the dancefloor.
Fans of the show can’t wait to see what the celebs have in store and who will wow the judges when they swap their day jobs for sparkles and a whole lot of razzle dazzle.
Now that the ball is rolling with the cast announcement, could this mean that we’ll be finding out more names in the near future?
While the entire 2021 line-up may not yet be in the public domain, we do already know about some new additions to the Strictly professional dancers, with four new performers entering the fray.
Plus, Anton Du Beke will officially be taking Bruno Tonioli’s spot on the judging panel for the 2021 series, with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman reprising their double act to host the proceedings.
When is the next cast announcement?
It’s not yet known when the cast announcement for Strictly 2021 will be made.
However, given the first three stars are being announced, we’d imagine more news won’t be too far away.
Who are the Strictly 2021 judges?
Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse will all be returning to judge Strictly, with Craig bringing his unflinching critique, Shirley delivering her unprecedented expertise and Motsi dazzling with her incredible moves and enthusiasm.

They’ll be joined by Strictly professional dancer Anton, who briefly took Motsi’s spot during last year’s competition during her temporary absence.
While we’re excited to see Anton judge for the entire competition, we’re also looking forward to Bruno’s potential return at some point in the future!
Who are the Strictly 2021 professional dancers?
Strictly 2021 will see the return of many fan-favourite professional dancer, including Aljaž Škorjanec, Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima, Johannes Radebe, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, and Oti Mabuse.

Janette Manrara will not be returning to the dancefloor, as she will instead be taking over from Zoe Ball on Strictly’s sister show It Takes Two.
The four new professional dancers joining the programme are Kai Widdrington, a former World Junior Latin American Champion; Nikita Kuzman, a six-time Latin and Ballroom National Champion in Italy; Cameron Lombard, the reigning South African Latin Champion; and Jowita Przystal, a former Polish Open Latin Champion and winner of BBC One’s The Greatest Dancer 2020.
Who won Strictly 2020?
Comedian Bill Bailey won Strictly 2020, becoming the oldest celebrity ever to do so on the show as he lifted the Glitterball Trophy with his professional partner Oti Mabuse.
Their victory marked the second win in a row for Oti, who also won the previous year with Kelvin Fletcher.
Strictly Come Dancing will return on BBC One later this year.
