Strictly Come Dancing finally revealed who would be dancing with who for the 2021 series. Here are all the couples below in case you missed it.
Strictly kicked-off tonight with its typically glitzy launch show, which saw last year’s winner Bill Bailey return to a delightful routine with Oti Mabuse.
Elsewhere, singer Anne Marie was on-hand to treat viewers to a spectacular music performance.
But of course, the main thing everyone wanted to know this evening was, which celebrities would be partnered with which professional dancer?
Well, we’ve got you covered.
Who has been paired together in this year’s Strictly?
It almost seemed no surprise at all to discover John Whaite will be waltzing around the floor with Johannes Radebe, after the Bake Off winner previously expressed an interest in dancing with the pro.
TV presenter AJ Odudu will be partnered with new pro Kai Widdrington, with Olympic gold-medallist Adam Peaty paired with a Strictly champion, Katya Jones.
Actor Greg Wise will take to the floor with now longest-serving pro dancer, Karen Hauer whilst after immense speculation, it was confirmed six-foot six Dan Walker would be dancing alongside Nadiya Bychkova.
Comedian and Loose Women panellist Judi Love is with Graziano Di Prima, whilst former Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star Katie McGlynn will dance with Gorka Marquez.
Former EastEnders royalty Nina Wadia will jive with Neil Jones whilst CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson will give Nancy Xu her debut series competing.
EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis will go up alongside Giovanni Pernice and Tilly Ramsey will be coupled up with another newbie, Nikita Kuzmin.
Finishing off this year’s pairings is McFly’s Tom Fletcher who will be dancing with 2018 finalist Amy Dowden and Ugo Monye, who has quite a lot to live up to, as he competes with two-time reigning champion Oti.
Who won Strictly in 2020?
Last year’s competition was won by Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse in one of the show’s closest-ever finals.
The much-loved pairing was back together once more tonight as they performed one of their previous routines, to the delight of viewers.
Oti also won the show as a professional in 2019 with Kelvin Fletcher – could she possibly make it three wins in a row?
Elsewhere, the judging panel also welcomed a new addition as Strictly’s previous longest-serving professional dancer Anton Du Beke took up his seat.
Returning to judge the new couples were Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.
When is Strictly next on?
Strictly Come Dancing continues next weekend, with the first live show on Saturday, September 25 on BBC One.
The launch show was filmed last Saturday September 11, meaning the pairs will have had two weeks practice for their first routine when it comes back again next weekend.
