Matilda ‘Tilly’ Ramsay will be swapping her chef’s whites for sequins and sparkle as she joins the lineup for Strictly Come Dancing 2021.
She officially revealed on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, where she said: ‘I’m so excited and grateful to be joining the Strictly family!
‘I’m always up for fun new challenges and this will be my biggest adventure yet!
‘I’m going to put my heart and soul into this and can’t wait to get my dancing shoes on and show my dad how it’s really done! Bring on the glitz, glamour and sequins.’
This news must be all the sweeter to Tilly as she was forced to skip Strictly last year after breaking her arm.
BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, Dragon’s Den businesswoman Sara Davies, CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and Great British Bake Off champ John Whaite are also taking to the floor as this year’s lineup continues to take shape.
Who is Tilly Ramsay?
Tilly, 19, is the daughter of famed chef Gordon Ramsay, but is making a culinary name for herself in her own right.

She has the cookbook Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover to her name, which is a companion to her CBBC series Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, on which her family regularly appeared.
Tilly has also popped up on her dad’s TV programmes such as MasterChef Junior.
Gordon, who shares Matilda with wife Tana, cheered on his daughter on Instagram after the news of her joining Strictly was announced, saying: ‘So proud of this one @tillyramsay youngest dancer ever ! good luck darling.’

The TV star is one of five children with siblings Megan, 23, twins Holly and Jack, 21 and Oscar, two.
Tilly has been romantically linked to chef Gino D’Acampo’s son Luciano after apparently meeting on their show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, however Gordon has said in the past: ‘I think they are just friends.’
Strictly bosses are reportedly hoping to see the Kitchen Nightmares star sitting in the studio audience cheering his daughter on.
Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year on BBC One.
