Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has been crowned winner of the Taskmaster New Year special, after impressing Greg Davies and Alex Horne on the show.
The dancing expert took home the top prize of a pair of golden eye brows (what else?) after pulling off a series of great performances during the festive episode of the hit comedy.
She beat off competition from Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Rylan Clark-Neal, Channel 4 News’ Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan and actor John Hannah.
The innuendo-filled episode saw the celebs assigned all kinds of strange and wonderful challenges. The first saw them told to push the largest item they could find through the hole of a doughnut.
Shirley racked up the points after placing a drain pipe through the confectionary during the cheeky task.
Next up, the celebs were told to sculpt the scene on the other side of a wall to their studio, feeling blindly through holes in order to make their interpretations with Play-Doh.
Finally, the celebs had to build a tower on a set of scales. Their structures had to be taller than a wolf, while being very light.
It was Shirley who was consistently impressive during the tasks, and she was delighted to be crowned the winner.
Viewers were just as happy with the result, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One viewer wrote: ’Omg Shirley WON Taskmaster!!! I knew she’d smash it and of course she did!! So happy and proud of her. Go on Shirley.’
Another said: ’That was one of the best #Taskmaster episodes in years. They should all come back for a full series. And Shirley Ballas is heading for national treasure status in my eyes.’
Taskmaster is available to watch on All4.
