Strictly final betting odds: who is favourite to win Strictly 2020?

The Strictly Come Dancing finale is upon us, and with just one week to go, everyone’s checking on the odds for the 2020 Strictly winner.

All four have fought their way to the final spots, marking show firsts as they did do.

At 19, EastEnders star Maisie is the youngest finalist on the show ever, and after eight years on the series, HRVY has helped Janette Manrara finally get her finalists spot.

Then there’s Bill Bailey, who could help Oti Mabuse become the first pro to raise the glitterball two years in a row.

Or it could even be dark horse Jamie, who despite falling into the dance-off four times in the series run, has managed to clinch his place with Karen Hauer every week.

Here’s what the bookies are saying about who could be crowned champion…

Odds for Strictly 2020

Currently, Bill Bailey is the current bookies’ favourite to take home the glitterball.

Coral have placed his odds at 10-11 – after he started the series as an outsider at 50/1.

They’ve also place HRVY at 7-4, Maisie at 5-1 and Jamie at 33-1.

‘We didn’t give Bill much of a chance at the start of this series of Strictly Come Dancing but he has been remarkable on the dancefloor and has such a strong public support behind him now. We make him odds on to win the final and lift the Glitterball Trophy,’ said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

The same odds are available at Ladbrokes, but a spokesperson said it may be anyone’s guess as the competition is so tight.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘On paper this is undoubtedly the closest Strictly final we’ve ever had. Bill and HRVY have chopped and changed at the head of the betting and it looks as though Maisie has started to peak again at just the right time.’

Who left Strictly in the semi-finals?

Unfortunately, it was Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice who were eliminated just one week before the finals.

They ended up in the dance-off against Jamie and Karen.

However, in a difficult split decision by the judges, it was down to Shirley Ballas who could stay and who would go, and she chose to save Jamie and Karen.

They were the seventh eliminated couple from this year’s competition.
