Viewers of Strictly The Real Full Monty were left on an emotional rollercoaster during the stars’ final routine, which culminated with Laila Morse proudly unveiling her scars.

Fans witnessed Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards kick off the spectacular finale by singing This Is Me from The Greatest Showman before the other stars joined in with a beautiful ballroom routine.

James and Ola Jordan were seen dancing in front of emotional photos and videos of his late father who died from cancer earlier in the year holding their baby daughter.

The tone then swiftly changed as The Full Monty music, You Can Leave Your Hat On, kicked in as Olympian Colin Jackson put a pilot’s hat atop his head to kick off the next part of the routine.

The celebs then performed a steamy routine together, before the men ditched their thongs and the ladies whipped off their bras for the big finish.

Viewers were left emotional as Laila Morse, who had previously battled breast cancer, chose to remain fully facing the audience with her scars visible.

They took to Twitter to praise the brave stars, who had all either battled cancer or been touched by it in their lives, for such an incredibly moving performance to encourage others to check their own lumps.

Fans posted: ‘Strictly The Full Monty was an amazing and emotional show. Well done to all involved (esp my guy @The_JamesJordan – beautiful dance for your dad.) Lots of tears in this house!’

Others added: ‘Powerful stuff, Strictly the Real Full Monty. A check is for life, not just for Christmas’ and ‘Strictly the real full monty had me in tears, what a show.’
