Strictly Come Dancing is finally back on-screen for another brand spanking new series but when and where was the launch show filmed?
The BBC show has been entertaining viewers since 2004 as they will get to see yet another cohort of celebrities learn how to dance from scratch with the help of some of the best dancing talent in the world.
For 2021, 15 more stars will be taking to the floor in the hope of winning the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
But with the launch show set to air tonight, fans want to know when the pre-recorded show was filmed.
When was the Strictly 2021 launch show filmed?
Pictures of the stars of the show arriving to film the series launch emerged last Saturday, a week in advance of its broadcast this evening.
The launch show gives the chance for the celebrities to introduce themselves to viewers for the first time as well as finally discover who they will be paired with for the duration for the series.
According to MailOnline, those who attended the launch were reportedly asked to put their mobile phones in plastic bags to ensure everything from the event remained top-secret and no spoilers were able to emerge.
As well as this, guests had to wear face masks and have their temperatures checked on arrival as the show still has strict Covid precautions in place.
When does Strictly start?
Strictly Come Dancing begins tonight (Saturday September 18) at 7:45pm on BBC One.
The dancers will have so far had two weeks in between finding out their partner and having to dance in front of a live audience for the first time.
The first live programme of the series is set to air on Saturday September 25, where the stars will have to perform in the hope of winning approval from the judging panel.
This year sees the addition of a new judge, Anton Du Beke, who will be taking the reins over from Bruno Tonioli who has also had to juggle filming commitments with Dancing With The Stars.
He will sit alongside Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and head judge Shirley Ballas on the panel.
Strictly normally runs until the week or two before Christmas, where a brand-new couple will become champions – but who will be lifting the trophy?
