Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell of Strictly Come Dancing may take the competition seriously, but they’ve also shown they’re not afraid to have fun on the job.
The EastEnders star, 20, has been matched with the 34-year-old Australian professional dancer, and the couple has emerged as favourites to win this season.
While they acknowledged to having an ’emotional’ few days after performing on Saturday night, generating fears from fans about their gloomy moods, they now appear to be back in great spirits.
The dancing partners have admitted that they didn’t miss an opportunity to perform a little joke when appearing on It Takes Two, after being photographed laughing and skipping their way to and from practises earlier this week.
On the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off programme on Wednesday night, Bobby acknowledged to being’very fatigued’ the previous week, while Dianne admitted to ‘pushing’ him to his limits.
Some observant viewers did notice something else was off when they were on television, with the pair’s shoe selections seeming odd.

Some immediately recognised the duo had opted to switch their footwear before appearing in front of the cameras, with Bobby wearing slightly-too-small pink Birkenstocks and Dianne drowning in a pair of massive black loafers.
Soon later, a video of the two was released on Strictly’s official social media channels, showing them pulling their trouser legs up to reveal the switch while pretending to be astonished.
Dianne replied on a fan’s repost that they were feeling’silly’.
Bobby said during the It Takes Two interview that he was ‘really disappointed’ after their penultimate week on the BBC dancing series.
After executing a tango to David Bowie’s Fashion, their week four dance received mixed reactions from the judges, with the couple receiving a 30 overall, despite rave compliments in prior weeks.
In an interview with host Janette Manrara, he said that, while he was ‘actually quite happy with the judge’s comments,’ the pressures of the competition were catching up with him.
‘Strictly’s a journey and I think I was just very tired and glad to have done the tango and put that all behind me,’ he said.
Dianne also said that she ‘really didn’t go easy on him’ with the routine, explaining that they ‘did not break hold the whole tango’.

‘And that’s something I think needs to be really commended because it was hard,’ she pointed out.
She went on to add she was’so proud’ of him for believing in her and pushing himself to his ‘limits’.
Dianne told co-host Claudia Winkleman on Saturday that it had been a ‘tough’ few days. She has subsequently released a mysterious remark on social media.
‘He has just been a massive rock this week, so thank you,’ she said, before giving Bobby a big hug while holding back tears.
It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6:30pm on BBC Two. Strictly Come Dancing continues at 6:35pm on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
