Succession season 3 is only days away from crashing back into our lives. But will there be even more to come?

The HBO drama follows billionaire Logan Roy and his children’s fight to be named successor of his business empire and it has become one of the most acclaimed shows around since first arriving in 2018.

The new nine-part series is due to premiere in the UK on Monday 18th October on Sky and NOW and kicks off immediately after the season two finale, which saw Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong) ambush his dad Logan (Brian Cox).

‘Scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war,’ the official synopsis reads.

Once the season wraps, can viewers expect to see the show back on screens again?

Will Succession return for season 4?

Succession season three is on the horizon and the question on everybody’s lips is will it be returning for another chapter?

While HBO has not yet officially announced whether the beloved drama will be making a comeback, it has been heavily implied that at least one more chapter is on the cards.

In June, executive producer Georgia Pritchett shone a light on what the future of the series looks like.

‘I think the maximum would be five seasons, but possibly more like four,’ she said at the time.

Pritchett added to The Times: ‘We’re at the end of filming season three, so at this point [creator Jesse Armstrong] is saying only one more. But that happens every time. We’ve got a good end in sight.’

Showrunner Jesse Armstrong has hinted earlier this month that the end is already in sight.

‘There’s going to be a very definite moment when that story is over, and it can’t go on too long,’ he told the New Statesman.

‘I think there’ll be an end for me in this incarnation of the show in… a bit,’ he added cryptically.

Succession is available to stream on HBO, Sky and NOW TV.
