The Bachelor viewers couldn’t hide their delight after Matt James finally sent Anna Redman and ‘queen’ Victoria Larson packing on last night’s episode.
As tensions between the pair and some of the newest contestants continued to build, Matt finally took matters into his own hands and decided to look into the bullying behavior.
After taking Brittany aside to find out who began the claims that she used to work as an escort, Matt went on to confront Anna about spreading the rumor.
During their sit-down, Anna admitted she made a mistake by bringing up the issue like she did. However, Matt was still unimpressed and chose to send her home.
Then at the rose ceremony, Matt chose not to give Victoria a rose which made it clear that he had not believed her earlier claims that the mean comments she made had been taken out of context.
Victoria tried to make a grand dramatic exit when it came time to give Matt a goodbye hug – which she opted not to do.
‘I honestly feel so sorry for you, that you would listen to hearsay and not all of the facts behind a situation, so goodbye,’ she said before she stormed off.
Fans were happy to see the ladies go as one joked: ‘Victoria and Anna seeing each other at the airport after Matt sent them both home.’
Another added: ‘Victoria looking for the person who is making the house toxic.’
‘I genuinely wish I got to see Victoria’s family bc at this point…I think we deserve an explanation,’ one fan tweeted.
Another stated: ‘That silent stare Matt gave Victoria was much needed’
‘You can tell this is the first time in her entire life that Anna has ever faced the consequences of her words or actions,’ one fan wrote.
Hopefully there will be a nicer vibe in the house, but time will tell.
The Bachelor airs Mondays on ABC in the US, it is available to stream on hayu in the UK.
