The Boys boss teases infamous Herogasm orgy plot for Season 3: ‘Everyone dared me to make this’

The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has teased that viewers are going to be for a wild ride in season 3 as he hinted at an orgy festival plot from the original graphic novels.

The Amazon Prime series has already featured quite a few NSFW sex scenes in the first two seasons, including some skull-crushing action and near-strangulation by elongated penis.

Now fans can look forward to something just a risqué in episode six of season three after Kripke shared a picture of its title page.

Written by Jessica Chou, the episode is titled ‘Herogasm’ and Kripke tweeted alongside the snap: ‘From day one, everyone dared me to make this episode. CHALLENGE MET MOTHERF**KERS.’

Fans believe this is a hint that the plot has taken inspiration from a mini-series linked to the original graphic novels in which The Seven and several other Vought supes head to a secret island to be off-grid for a spell of time.

When on the island, things get interesting as one of Kripke’s followers explained: ‘they, ummmm, satisfy all their weird desires for a while.

‘It’s extremely decadent and gross. And hilarious and awesome.’

In the comics, Herogasm is an annual company-sponsored event, where human participants are paid up to $100,000 to act out some of the deepest and darkest fantasies of the supes – even if it’s not quite legal.

Meanwhile, actor Antony Starr, known for playing superhero Homelander on the programme, has stated filming for season three will start soon.

It was previously stated the show was due to begin production in early 2021, and Anthony has confirmed that production should now begin ‘within a month or so.’

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Antony said: ‘We haven’t got a specific date yet, but in the not-too-distant future, within a month or so.

The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video now.
