A brand new series of The Cabins is finally back, set to present an exciting twist and more importantly, a whole load of drama.
The reality dating show, which is narrated by comedian Maisie Adam, follows a group of singletons spending time together without the usual daily distractions in an attempt to find true love face-to-face.
The first series was a huge success on ITV2, but where is the show filmed? And has the location changed the second time round?
Here’s what you need to know.
Where is The Cabins filmed?
The first series of The Cabins was filmed at the luxury Hidden River Cabins in Cumbria, which is right by the Lake District.
This year the cast of 2022 will be checking into three brand new Cabins in Wales. Otter’s Pocket, Stag’s Mount and Beaver’s Burrow are located closely together and give the contestants the opportunity to debrief over any juicy gossip.
Although the exact location isn’t known, we’re convinced it’ll be the perfect environment for romance to blossom.
The luxurious space has a warm aesthetic tone and consists of a hot tub, games, cosy love seats, and fully equipped kitchens.
Each cabin featured on the show has different interiors, however, the couples each have a welcoming outdoor seating area which they can snuggle up in.
It seems like bosses are doing everything to keep love in the air, as there will also be ‘lovers lake,’ a secluded yurt and firepit at the location to help create the perfect dates.
When does The Cabins start?
Series 2 of The Cabins will begin on Monday, January 3 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
In the first series, fans saw Charlotte and Sarah’s relationship develop drastically, which resulted in them being the first pair to stay for four days and leave as an official ‘Cabins couple.’
16 singletons are looking for love in the new series of The Cabins, and the cast includes everyone from a make-up artist to a nursing assistant, and from an estate agent to an athlete.
One of the new hopefuls is 18-year-old junior hairdresser Amy from Scotland, who describes herself as ‘very picky’ as she’s on the hunt for someone funny, spontaneous, tall and tanned.
While car salesman Jad, 26, says he’s ‘throwing himself into the deep end’ to find someone he can have good banter with after not really dating at all before.
There’s also Cory, 28, who’s had enough of the ‘social media aspect of finding love,’ and wants to find someone who ‘understands’ him.
Another additional twist for those checking in will be the surprise of a friend or family member dropping by unexpectedly.
Not long to wait now.
The Cabins returns on Monday January 3 at 9pm on ITV2.
