The Chase airs incredible NSFW answer and our minds are immediately in the gutter

The Chase was hit by an X-rated multiple-choice answer on Wednesday night that didn’t escape the attention of viewers at home.

Minds were immediately in the gutter when presenter Bradley Walsh read out the question: ‘American band DNCE had a top 10 single in 2016 with what song?’

He then proceeded to reveal the possible answers, which consisted of ‘Cake By The Ocean’, ‘Brownie By The Beach’ or, wait for it, ‘Cream Pie By The Pool’.

Although the filthy line went unnoticed by Bradley, The Beast’s Mark Labbett and the contestant, fans didn’t skip a beat and they quickly pointed out the NSFW gag on social media.

‘Did anyone else see this on #TheChase???’ wrote one, alongside picture evidence that the cheeky answer actually aired on ITV.

‘Anyone ever had a cream pie by the pool?’ asked another.

Of course, ‘Cream Pie By The Pool’ was not the correct title of the hit single, with the ‘Cake By The Ocean’ being the actual song name.

The song, which was co-written by Joe Jonas, reached the top 10 on multiple national record charts including those of Australia, Canada, Germany, the UK and the US.

Ever wanted to appear on The Chase to be confronted by a NSTW joke for yourself or to see if you could take on The Governess or The Dark Destroyer?
